August 25, 2009 - How About Adding Jon Markman to Your List?
A reader asked: "How about adding Jon Markman to your review of industry analysts. MSN, Markman capital, etc."
The public part of Jon Markman's Trader's Advantage site, while listing some "Big Winners," is essentially content-free. Note that the disclosure for the site states:
Section 4: "To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Editor, the publisher and their respective affiliates disclaim any and all liability in the event any information, commentary, analysis, opinions, advice and/or recommendations in the Newsletter prove to be inaccurate, incomplete or unreliable, or result in any investment or other losses."
Section 9: "Neither the Editor, the publisher, nor any of their respective affiliates is responsible for any errors or omissions in any Newsletter."
The public part of the Markman Capital Insight LLC site is also essentially content free.
MSN Money presents a partial archive of Jon Markman's past articles, extending back on a continuous basis to about the beginning of 2008. There are many more older articles by Jon Markman on the site, but the search capabilities there make them very difficult to extract and organize. The limited listed archive, plus a few other articles discovered via searches, offer 20 testable outlooks for the overall U.S. stock market. Of these outlooks, only 13 are currently gradable.
Given the very small archive and its relatively short duration, we are putting Jon Markman on a watch list but not establishing a formal review at this time.
